It's a decent sized pub with friendly service. There's room for improvement, particularly in the disgusting bathrooms, but overall it's an ok place to hang out for a beer.
Food is your typical average pub food; heavily fried in grease, and will fill a hole whilst drinking, but not somewhere you would particularly choose to come for a date. -

Excellent! I'm starting a new monthly comedy show on March. 26th @ 10:00 P.M.! All the shows will be the last Saturday if the month!

I reviewed this before and really slammed it as I had a pretty bad meal.
However I have been back and what I tried was better and friends liked what they had so I have removed my slam and upped their rating.
Basically it's a pub that uses the deep fryer a lot. -

We have been coming to Thornton Arms for many years now. We used to be there weekly. Went today for the first time in a few months. Food was okay but not superb. My Greek salad had way too much dressing. And the potato skins had far too many chopped onions in them. My husband had boneless wings and they were way over cooked. Also very very dated. The walls were disgusting. I get that it is a pub but a daily cleaning and fresh paint goes a long way. Might be awhile before we go back again.
